Staani is a studio born from a lifelong obsession with nostalgia. The quiet kind that sneaks up on you in color, texture, scent, or sound.

Right after grad school, I landed my first dream architecture job in New York City. Midtown office. Subway commutes. Rooftop drinks. Gallery evenings. The occasional existential crisis on a park bench. I am in my twenties, in Manhattan, and for a while, it felt just right. But even in the thick of it, on golden hour walks down 7th Avenue, I felt a quiet tug from home. From here. From Bangalore.

Staani is my response to that tug, documented. It is Design as Biography.

My work moves between architecture, interiors, and objects. It is always guided by the belief that beauty lies in what is personal, layered, and grounded in quiet permanence. Every space, setting, and surface is part of the same instinct, a design language that is less about things and more about how we live with them.
